Back from Polanski's new film 'God Of Carnage' I must say I can highly recommend it.

Brilliant piece of observation and acting.
As expected Christoph Waltz is as genius as ever. What I really found remarkable, was the fact that throughout the whole film I never saw one of the actors as individuals, bur rather as a collective skilfully bouncing pieces of dialogue around the room.

Thus, I was almost disappointed, when the whole thing suddenly ended and you are sitting there in your chair, expecting the next avalanche of from the god of carnage..

Contrary to the standard this time the movie is actually way better than the Trailer. Cheers and good night..

Watch Mary & Max. It is moving, beautiful and bizarre. Storytelling at its finest -all in Claymation:

Produced in Australia and Opening Film at the Sundance 09.

Thinking of the production proccess of films like that has been fascinating me ever since Wallace and Grommit. Seeing filmmaking as a craft and the true storytelling is what I often miss these days. Works like that proove how such endless efforts can finally be worth it.

Celebrating attention to detail; sad and funny at the same time. Not for one of those happier days but definitely one of my 09 favorites.
